I appreciate the offer. I did not set out to find a GTX or Roadrunner. This car just happened to be in town and I like the body style so the adventure began. Don't tell anyone but I really prefer the '71 Satellite/GTX/RR body style. I really kind of dig the wagon!

I don't think he is. He runs a brake shop here and you see old muscle cars for sale there from time to time. Here is a funny story. When I first went to look at it he was bragging about how well the car ran and it would set and do burnouts all day long. He tried to do a burnout and the car...

    Help identifying a 1968 B body

I whole heartily believe that. If it had been some rare combination then it may have been worth saving at that price. I believe all cars are worth saving just some are worth more than others. Thanks.

I thought about that but he seems like he may be a hot head. I'm pretty confident he believes his story and since I am new to the Mopar world I would not be able to persuade him to think otherwise. I really could not make a reasonable offer with having to replace the floor without really...

There is a sucker born everyday. This guy was starting the work for someone else and that person lost interest in it. If the owner is who he claims it is I could see the believing the story of it being a rare car. The family has quite a lot of money and is known world wide for the product...

    Help identifying a 1968 B body

There isn't any convincing that is going to take place because he is convinced this is a rare 1 of 59 GTX cars with these options. Plus it was suppose to come from some person's private collection that is suppose to mean something. Is it possible that this is some odd one off car that got out...

    Help identifying a 1968 B body

I am looking at buying my first Mopar. I have found one in pretty decent shape, just needs a floor pan. The owner tells me that it is a 1968 Belvedere GTX. He goes on to explain how rare it is because of the factory air and the fact it has a 318 2-barrel in it. Is there a way to positively...
