I just picked up a 2nd 67 Belvedere 2D. It has a slant 6. I also picked up a BB 66 parts car. I haven’t decided if I want to go big block. Are there any slant 6 to V8 motor mount conversion’s on the market for the 67 b body? I’m having no luck with Schumacher or Classic Industries...
Car will be full weight, not sure how much the sedan is. It has a 904 I would like to run 3.55’s. Right now it has 255 60 15’s.

It seems like the cam selection is more limited and a lot more money. How do the old lifters hold up. They looked ok. I have built a roller based 302 and reused lifters but I had the car for a few years before the build.

I picked up a 87 318 to build for my 67 Belvedere. I took it down to the shortblock and noticed it had a roller cam/roller lifters. I am building this in a budget. Can I use a flat tappet cam on this roller block? I am getting all different answers. Some say no problem, others...
Picked up a 1987 318. Came out of running truck with good oil pressure and compression. Tore into it. The cylinders and bearings look good. I plan on Aluminum heads, Howards Cam, intake, and long tube headers. Paid $120 for the motor from a fellow gear head.

I’m in the process of a carb swap on my 67 Belvedere with a 273 and 904. I think the PO had didn’t have the linkage adjusted correctly. The linkage mechanism appears to be stock. Does anybody have some good pictures especially of the adjustment rod/spring set up near the carb...
