So I have an opportunity to buy a 1966 Coronet 440 4 door. Going to go look at it next week. Poly 318, auto, a/c, upgraded to power brakes. Replaced bushings. BUT hasn’t been driven in 4-5 years. Motor was rebuilt 2000 miles ago and was told it runs. Replaced gas tank and sending unit. This is all the info and pics I have. I might buy it on site when I go look at it so I wont have much more info before I’m at that point but wanted to hear what you guys think might be a fair pricey offer? Thanks guys!

Some where between $6k and $9k. It is a 4-door, hasn't ran in 1/2 decade. All depends on what you find needs fixing when you see it. How deep do you want to be in it.

I bought a 65 Coronet 440 4 DR SED w/PS, A/C, 318 Poly, auto, new tires, new brakes, 86,000 for $3,000.00 last fall.

I have seen some crazy high asking prices on nice condition, but run-of-the-mill 4-doors around my area lately. I would think $4500 to $4700 would be fair price, if it's as nice as it seems in pics, for somebody that REALLY wants one.

Wow, I 've seen late 70's NICE 2door cars having trouble fetching 5-10k. Yeah, it's nice, it's a Mopar, but a 4-door, I wouldn't pay more than $2,500. Actually, I wouldn't buy it at all. That's just me.

Looks like a 66

I can't image paying anymore than $3-4K.

I say 4-5K.

less if there's body work, but it doesn't look like much if any.

Those lines around the rear wheels are damn near impossible to get right in bondo.

Agreeing with the guys at $3000 - $4000

Thanks guys! Just want to make sure I go into it with the most info I can and make a good decision. Don't want to over pay, but don't want to offend him either.

did you end up buying this car Paul>?
i wondered as i recently bought an identical car, same color and all.

No I did not. We sold our house and decide to build a new home, so things changed financially pretty quick. Where did you pick yours up from?
