That chart is very interesting. My Charger was a 361 factory air car. I always thought 2.94's were standard and 3.23's were optional. Apparently it was the other way around, and air cars got 2.94's.
We used to roll mercury around in our hands in science class. Then again at YMCA camp I made my father an ashtray out of asbestos. That probably explains a lot about me too. :rolleyes:
If you have a plunge cut made with a modern serdi or similar machine, that will remove pretty much what the porting templates are showing you. Then you just have to blend the transition.
I did the Scarebird conversion as well, and I am very happy with it. I run manual brakes with a 1 1/32 master , and I find the pedal effort fine. If a 1" or 15/16 master had been more readily available I might have used that. I just realized that the rotors look tiny in this picture, but that...
I also decided to change the pump cam on the Holley for one with a little faster initial ramp. The old pink one is beside the new red one. Seems to be working fine, but I haven't road tested it yet.
I got tired of looking at the grungy 73 valve covers on the freshly painted engine so I put the old chrome ones back on, added the distributor and just placed the Street Demon on top, and took a picture of it in front of it's new home.
My nephew owns a right hand drive Mini pickup truck. I borrowed it one day for a fundraising event. I got in OK , but when I drove it I kept turning on the turn signal every time I shifted gears and let out the clutch. :rolleyes:
