Hello.
So I'm interested in buying a reprint of the original repair manual :icon_study: and most of them are titled '1969 Service Manual...Charger Coronet Dart', while another has the same title, but in addition states 'includes 1969 1/2 includes 440-six pack.'
What is the 1969 1/2...
OK. So, I'll just start off by saying that I'm not an electrical expert.
I've recently purchased the Hood Mounted Turn Signal assembly and wiring harness for my 1969 Charger and want to try and hook it up without having to go to my mechanic. Where do they hookup to? And yes, I found the...
Hello Everyone.
Would anyone happen to know which Edelbrock carb has replaced the Carter AFB Competition series carburator? Is it the Performer or the Thunder AVS series?
thank you.
Hey Rob.
Try CalipersOnline.com or getdiscbrakes.com. Lemme know how it goes with either of these. My guy did a good job, but he is on the West Coast of Canada and the 2 places above might get your work done quicker as they are a bit closer...when u say remanufactured, I think that is the...
Hey...sorry for taking so long to respond...computers been down.
Remember one thing...all this is subjective and what works for one doesn't always work for the other. I went original and have no regrets. Nothing wrong with aftermarket or new style, but not for me. If I wanted new, I would...
thanks 696pack. I guess I need the original bill of sale to see if it was ordered or not which I don't have..just the build sheet and all that has are codes and codes galore.
Cheers
Thanks guys. I saw decoders like that on the net, but it doesn't say if it's an SE or not. My vin starts with XP and for the price class of P that is supposed to stand for Premium (i think), but does Premium mean that it is an SE. Lots of these decoders give great info, but are a bit unclear...
UPDATE:...I actually went with the one piece rotor and hub from Year One and didn't use the Dura Brake Rotor with my original hub and I gotta say the car stops awesome. No regrets here sticking with the stock set up so far. This cars stops on a dime. Somebody back in the day at Bendix and...
Call the guys at MP brakes as they sell a disc conversion kit meant for going from B body drums to A body discs. They should be able to help. (mpbrakes.com)
and no, I don't work for them. Good luck.
When my back up lights didn't work, it was because the neutral safety switch plug/connector was fried. It has 3 wires with a plug that connects to the neutral safety switch and there was no contact between the 2. (BTW I have a 383 with a 727 torqueflite on my 69 Charger...not sure if that is...
Hey Everyone.
Thanks for all your help. Great to find people as passionate about their wheels as I am, if not more so.
Anyways, I have the rebuilt calipers, new bearings, new hub seals, new pads, new hoses...and lastly the rotors. What I found was the lugs/studs just popped right in the...
I've been told that they are made by DuraBrake Co. I'm not sure of their p/n as I have someone who ordered everything for me and I'm still waiting for them. There is a co. here in Canada that distributes them, but I'm sure you'd rather order from the states. I know you can order from...
