Thanks for the heads up, I will be sure to check into that. In other news, I'm thinking about checking out these "perfect fit" kits from Keisler:

I don't know too...
Think I'm gonna pick up this engine to rebuild:
http://classifieds.castanet.net/details/20045.7_dodge_hemi/1697900/
Price is right that's for sure. I'm assuming this is a truck engine, but I'm gonna find out for sure.
Where do the gauges get their information from? I figured if I was using the HEMI with it's computer and all the sensors in the engine, that I could use the new cluster.
Got a final quote:
Complete dash w/ all panels and frame $150
Center console w/ all brackets needed for mounting $150
Dash\Console wiring $100
Climate controls that come with the dash w/ wiring and vents $50
All other dash controls (headlight controls, etc.. ) and their associated wiring $50...
Does anyone know what would be involved in fitting a 2010 Challenger steering column into my car? I'm planning to install the entire dash assembly from the Challenger into my Coronet, so I'd like to use the matching column if possible. I guess I'll already be doing extensive modifications, so...
No I definitely don't want airbags haha. I just wasn't sure I could actually glue that piece down where it pops out. Thought it totally mangles the instrument panel on the passenger side.
Another thing, I really like the idea of utilizing the factory gauges from the Challenger, and am wondering...
Another response when I asked some questions:
"I can definetly do the video of it running as for vin all I have is the frame a bare cab with the motor and trans still in tact. It was a roll over. Weve already ha it running just haven’t gotten around to doin specs yet."
Hmm...
You know what...
Thanks for the replies! I haven't heard anything back from that wrecker so I've been looking at other options. The most recent I've found is from a wrecker a couple hours away from me. Here is the info from car-part.com:
Year : 2004
Model : Dodge Truck...
I'm hesitant to grab the HEMI out of this one since it was in a front end collision.
Just got a reply back and they are asking $100 for the entire dash assembly! The only catch is the passenger airbag was deployed and the panel will need to be replaced. Still in all, I'd rather spend $100 to...
Hey guys. So I just found someone on another forum that is parting out a 2010 Dodge Challenger. I have this crazy plan of fitting a new Challenger dash into my Coronet.
I was wondering what you would think to be a reasonable price for a complete dash assembly and console? What other parts...
So I found a 2005 Ram ECU for $125 from a local truck parts shop. They have a few of them. Does that seem like a reasonable price considering I will need to get it flashed for a manual trans and to disable whatever else I need to make it work in a custom scenario? (Disabling security or...
Do you think a better option would be to go through an engine builder and have them build me a stock 5.7? That way I know I'm not dealing with a lemon. I was thinking of going with an aftermarket harness anyway, but I agree at that price it should include the stock one and the computer.
I was wondering the same thing with the compressor as I'm looking at getting those headers as well. Here is another thread where this was being discussed:

Looks like a few people...
Thanks superfreak. And thanks Photon for the link. I may have found an even better deal on a HEMI. It's a 5.7 from a 2004 Ram 1500 and has 31,000 KM on it. 5000 KM fewer than the 2008 I was looking at, and I will for sure have no MDS or VCT to deal with. I just emailed them for a quote...
If I was to look for a T-56 from a wrecker, what are some vehicles I could include in my search? I know that certain year Vipers used it before switching to the TR-6060.
Good to know. From what I've been reading, it seems that a lot of people prefer the T-56 Magnum over the TR-6060 due to the fact that it's aftermarket and offers both types of speed sensors and the option for different shifter locations.
I completely agree. That's why I've been doing so much research over the past year before I jump head first into this project. Finding out how I can meet my needs without spending a small fortune. I still have much to learn, but I'm getting there. It's great to hear everyone's advice and first...
Thanks, this is very helpful and exactly what I was looking for. I realized that a lot of my initial concerns stemmed from reading about A-Body fitment of the HEMI block (having to replace the power steering box with a manual) onto the factory K-Frame. Looks like I will be good to go with the...
