Hi, I'm looking to replace my stock 14x7 steel wheels on my Satty.

I was wondering if it can be done without any other alterations to the suspension or whatnot. In other words, can I simply take off my 14x7s and slap the 15x7s on without any issue. As far as I know, the cars suspension is stock. Thanks is advance!

The short of it...Yes you can

...as long as you don't get some crazy off-set (the center set w-a-y to the inside), also referred to as a 'deep dish' wheel. I'm talking little to no backspacing. Most 15 x 7 wheels will have 3.5 to 5 inch backspacing (center being closer to the outside of the rim). Post some photos when you get the new bling!

4-1/2 offset should be fine. i ripped the 14's off the Road Runner and Belvy ...and the Javelin and put 15's on with out a problem

Don't forget to think about overall wheel diameter. If your overall wheel (tire) diameter increases with the swap, it will affect the accuracy of your speedometer. A taller tire will also decrease off-the-line performance but increase highway fuel economy. (All these can be changed/fixed, but that's another story)

Small changes shouldn't be a big deal, but keep it in mind...

i have 255-60-15's on my 70 runner...all 4 wheels ...he should have no probs with that tire!

what are you waiting for lol

most 15 x 7 steels have a 4 1/4 backspace
