This car was at Carlisle last summer & it was absolutely beautiful.
We've always said the survivors are always green or gold. Go figure. DaveBut why oh why do the nice ones always have to be green? (Sarcasm)
That's what makes them nicer! But why oh why do the nice ones always have to be green? (Sarcasm)
My mom drove us seven kids and two cats from Ill. to Calif. in a --56 DeSoto- to meet up with dad and our new place to live.
My first car at age 14 was a 57 Desoto I bought for $50 earned money. Mine was a Firesweep but I drooled for an Adventurer.
Many great memories came from the world of cars of the fifties.
NICE! A rare 3xGreen appreciater.
Growing up we had the green appliances also.
They matched the 1 1/2" shag carpet but I thought they clashed with my burnt orange leisure suit (THAT MY PARENTS MADE ME WEAR!)
Here's your Adventurer @1:48
When I was drooling for an Adventurer this woman in front of one would have caused lifelong confusion and I may have needed counseling of some sort. Talk about of confusing and contrasting things to deal with at a tender age.--EEK
