so back on poor man's hydraulic lift

what's this in english? wheel opening?
and in the middle of bodywork going to a drag race weekend
the Dart did a 18.301 and we had a great time with all those real racers :icon_winkle:

I went on with the right rear quarter. There was not too much metal left...
AMD
and parts from a lower quarter of a 1963 Fury. Doesn't fit too good.
Please be patient with me. I did this the first time and without anything but a hammer, a cutting wheel and a cheap welder.
But in the end it was a great time for me to get this work done!

OK. Story ends here. The Dart is ready and I use it here and there as a driver or just for fun at the drag strip. The Dart never won a race, but the people love to see it.
Some pictures:
It's a really nice driving car. And it is not slow at daily use. But now I want to give it a little punch. Winter is long and there are few parts laying around and waiting for a chance. See you at the strip :headbang:
