Is there any way to positively identify this car as a Max Wedge car?/ The serial # 3421131700,I've have decoded it along with the fender tag and there is nothing to say it's a Max Wedge car.

Well it was built at Lynch Road. 4th digit in vin being a "1". All Plymouth MW were built there.

the fender tag of capital letters are:
A B C D E F G H J K L M N P Q R
4 5 1 5 3 1
for some reason the post puts all the number together, the correct run of numbers are: under A is 4, under B is 5, under C is 1, Under J is 5, under L is 3 and under N is 1.

3421131700
This vehicle is a 1962 Plymouth Fury Sport 8 Cylinder
and was the 31,700th car scheduled for production at the
Lynch Road, Detroit, MI assembly plant.

Your VIN# is not a 413 Super Stock (Max Wedge) factory built car according to Darrell Davis's 1962 Guide Book. The S/N in your VIN is an earlier year build than the lowest 3421 Sport Fury VIN. 3421163541 is the earliest Sport Fury listed as a 413 MW. All factory 413 MW 1962s were built at Lynch Road and were late year production. Hope this answers your questions.

4 under the "A" code 504 = 361 1-4 bbl 305 hp

5 under the "B" ??? Might be a "2" code 342 Torqueflight

1 under the "C" = code 361 AM Music Master economy radio

5 under the "J" = code 385 Heater front with defroster

3 under the "L" = code 423 Back-up lights

1 under the "N" = (Not sure)

Any time John. Darrell Davis did a lot of research to compile the info in his series of MW books. I was lucky to get a 62 Plymouth copy. Has all the VIN#s listed with other info. I also talked to Darrell several times when researching these cars. Hopefully you, Ronald, and i can hook up sometime when the weather clears.
