Hey red sorry hear about your wife and to sorry to hear that you will sell the car. In defense of Red63440 I see where is coming from. Sure the car is 90% complete but, to complete it will take more time and money than he can fetch. The sale of the car would help him/his wife any current/ future medical bills. Taking a complete (no project) less cool/popular vehicle plus cash is a bonus for him because he still gets to stay in an old Mopar plus he gets cash to help out or save. Take your pick. I think that's the reason he mentioned trades but, I could be wrong? At any rate and most of all best wishes you to your and your wife and a quick recovery.

Just a thought here Red...Now we haven't been introduced to each other but my guess is we about at the same place on our resto projects. Mine is a 66 Ply Sat. Pics are here under Projects Forum. If I weren't so tied up in my project, I would love to jump upon yours. Anyway...I think that your asking price is correct and it should move. That being said, it isn't moving for you. My take is that it is a perfect asking price for a completed, running vehicle and yours and mine are not. Most here I dare say would rather have a completed or almost completed car that will run and fire up. Maybe a more realistic asking price due to the state of completion you are at would be more receptive and move the car. We always have way more $$$'s invested then what the actual outcome is. Realistically...and this is just for conversation only...if you were to look for between 9000 and 10,000, I bet it would move. It may not be what you would really expect but it would free you up to see to the Wife's needs, and give you the peace of mind knowing that it just might go to someone who sees it for exactly what you do. Tough I know but in the end it really is only a material object. Just a thought and good luck in which ever way you decide to go with it. I realize that the market is soft but I am offering a 63 with a body that has all of its original sheet metal which has every factory pinch weld in place, has fresh paint, a completely rebuilt sure grip rear end with new springs, shackles and shocks. The transmission has been totally ebuilt with a new converter, valve body and shifter. The heads have over $1000.00 in them not to mention the intake, carb, cam, lifters, valve covers and all of the other parts that have gone into it so far. Those who have seen the car and stated that its the nicest and most solid 63 they have ever seen. A guy will buy a rusted out POS and put thousands of dollars in after market replacement floor pans and piece together body parts and then spend countless hours to get a good body "put together". The difference in my price eliminates all of expense and time involved in the floor pans and body panels and from what I have seen on here most have an easy $3,000.00 involved in replacing all of those parts not to mention the time it takes tracking them down. As I said above, if it doesn't sell for the minimum of 13,000.00 it will get covered and will sit. Thanks for your thoughts and happy holidays to you and yours!
