Some wheel well pics and doors just to show the work and NO RUST.
I did forget to mention that the paint job could use to be clay barred and waxed. It's not smooth like glass. Looks great, but needs to be polished, IMHO (for whatever that's worth). I'm picky.

nope.:bootyshake: Hey before you sell your 63 can I see the trunk and cage? Thanks.
Yes. Tomorrow I'll take detailed pics of that for you. I kinda thought you'd want to see that.
Hey, if I sell it to someone out that way, and they want me to haul it, I'll make sure and stop by your place so you can look the whole thing over for ideas and inspiration.

Thank you thank you. I am soooo tempted to get out some tools and just do it. I just hate cutting on such a nice solid car. I will have heat in a couple weeks in the garage though. I wonder what it would cost to just do it to mine? I was looking for a roller that is done but what the heck.......... I would even leave it in primer for a while.

I look at your car this way:
It's a 318.
It's not like you are cutting up a Max Wedge or something. It's a 318 car.
It's not as if someone is gonna say "Dang, why in the H*LL did you cut up that beautiful 318 car?"
And it's not like 20 years from now a 318 in whatever shape is gonna be like a big dollar collectors item. Right?
Know what I mean?

Its not the fact that it`s a 318 car, it is that it is just rock solid. Tubs, floors, trunk, inner trunk extensions still have the knock out plugs. It is hard to find them this solid and cutting on it makes me nervous. My cousin always said it takes a man to cut them and even he says it is just to solid to do what I want to it.

I've always looked at it in a similar fashon to you kikgas, if it's somewhere between rough and an absolute pig....yeah cut away. But if it's really nice, leave it alone.....although I do see what pmsjaw is getting at with the 318 side of things, but the cutting would have a ??????? hanging over it for me too.

Tough decision.
I see both sides.
Glad I don't have to make it.....yet.

Looks like I will have plenty of time to decide as it is still sitting here yet. It is weird, I had 1 person look at it and they said the dash bezel needed re chromed and passed on it. One guy called and said he would call me on Monday and never did.

Yeah go figure, most guys (myself included)would be stoked if they looked at a car and the worst thing about it was the dash bezel.

At $8500., it's a deal waiting for someone.

it is a very good deal for his car. not to rub salt in the wound but I paid less for my 64 Belvedere and it is just as clean of a car. people are crazy to pass on his car at that price. But it is a buyers market right now

I agree.
$8500 is a bargain.
I very very very very much considered it.
I thought hard about taking his car, and making it like a "Lite" version of the one I have; give it an awesome street/strip look, but driver friendly.
$8500 is a solid price.

Anybody interested in this thing?
Or am I going to end up listing it on The Great Satan, Ummm...I mean "Ebay" ?

Might wanna post it on the HAMB.Lots of activity over there.
