I acquired this '63 Sport Fury from the original owner's daughter last fall and it has been waiting it's turn in line with my other projects. The husband of the the lady that I got it from had it mini tubbed, springs moved inboard, installed subframe connectors and had a narrowed rearend built. The car had also been blasted and the body work done. I've slowly been gathering parts and working on bits and pieces for it over the last year. Here it is as we found it and after we got it out of the container.

The Mazzolini engines in the front of the container and the paperwork that we found for the one with the crossram.

I decided to see if I could get the '69 440 in it running after 20+ years and correctly install the rear axle and suspension after just mocking it up to make the car roll and get it home. After priming it with oil, flushing the fuel system and replacing the starter, it fired right up. Bled the front brakes, installed some tires and wheels that I had and drove it around the neighborhood with no exhaust.

The car spent it's whole life in the Mojave desert, it has no rust. Here are the floors after I cleaned out all the parts and at least 3 cars worth of trim and stainless.

I cleaned and polished the taillights and front turn signals. There was an NOS set of taillight lenses with the car and I found the amber fronts from a parts seller online.

The engine after hours of cleaning and polishing. The billet pulleys and extra long plug wires will be replaced. I have air cleaners and velocity stacks for it.
