Yep but it’s worth it in the end.Holy Smokes DukeBoy, you have a huge job there with that 64.
That’s freaking awesome! I happen to have a brand new disc/drum MC off my 74 dart that I can now repurpose. Thanks a tonYes the disc brake master cylinder will bolt up directly. You will need a proportioning valve to adjust front and rear pressure. Also, when looking for the master cylinder look for one from a mid seventy's Duster or Dart with disc/drum configuration. 15/16 inch bore size works the best for your application. I'm sure others will chime in as well.
Because I’m a cheap *** and have no plans but to thrash on this car once it’s running. I really never planned to do anything with it to be honest. A buddy of mine had had it for YEARS, sinking in the mud at his parents house. They were moving and he had no place to store it plus he was going thru a nasty divorce and his now ex had drained his bank account. I offered to give him cash to get by, he wouldn’t take a handout. Too proud. So I said, hell just sell me that old polara, he thought about it, and said sure why not. I was just gonna yard art the thing.Well that sucks. Why didn't you just buy floorpans for it?
