It goes on the driver's side front lower frame rail. It is a splash shield for the starter. The tie rod passes through the notch. Only one per car.Where does shield fit into the picture? I don't see it in the service book.

Mine is routed inside the roof structure with the passenger side across the center and into the roof frame work and down to the mounting point. Hope this helps, hard to explainIs this the correct routing for rear courtesy light harness?
