Thanks, that is what I was thinking but I have the interior upper windshield clips that have a screw hole in them. These have no hole for a screw. I was wondering if I had picked up clips that went to another car on one of my many trips to the wrecking yard and got them mixed in.Trim clips for inside top windshield trim, possibly.
I was thinking inside A-pillars: 2 each side.I'm putting my 65 Coronet back together and came across these clips that aren't identified. Can anyone tell me where they go?

Thank you, i will look there.I was thinking inside A-pillars: 2 each side.
Thank you just now got back on and saw your answer. I do have the ones that you are referring to but these are different in that they have no screw hole for the trim. They look like something would clip to them. I was wondering if somewhere along the way I picked them up for a different model or something. They go just inside the top front windshield. The top inside window trim screws into them. There are 4 of them. They are made of hardened steel and have two pinch tabs that go onto a hole along the top inside front roof.
There is no no screw for attaching them to the body, just those tiny tabs. When they are removed the tabs get bent outward. Originally they were inserted into the hole and the tabs spread apart. But they are usually a one time use because of the hardened steel. It's hard to get the tabs spread apart correctly. I reinstalled mine the best I could and added some JB Weld to insure they would stay. I've heard of people using Riv-nuts, screws, etc. I have thousand of pictures from my Altered Wheel base build but they are not organized. This is the best picture I could find
