1966 Dodge Coronet 4 sale $2,500 or best offer
Selling my 1966 Dodge coronet 4 door. this is an almost rust free numbers matching car.everything is solid except for the driver and passenger side fenders. they will need patch panels.rear quarter panels have been replaced and are roughed in and need finishing.very easy body work to do I just don't have the time to do it (too many other projects).it has a 318 V-8 in it.it has a 600 Edelbrock 4 barrel on it.727 torqeflite automatic transmission.new dual exhaust with victor mufflers (sounds sweet!) new shocks in front, new Gabriel hijacker airshocks in the back.new gas tank, new sending unit.new brake shoes and hardware, new wheel cylinders all the way around.all glass is good.original paint is thin,it will need paint eventually.also has new battery.
Interior is original and is almost near perfect.it has a crack in the dash pad,the front two armrests need replaced, one small hole in driver side of seat, the stitching in one seam came out and my wife sewed it back up the best she could.did a pretty good job of sewing it back together, not perfect, but liveable.and one small small small hole in the headliner on the passenger side.interior is really clean.I just put a fresh tune up on it about 5 or 6 months ago before I put it away in the garage for the winter.new cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, valve cover gaskets,hoses,belts,etc...this is not a show car (at least yet anwway,I did take a 3rd place plaque though at the last show we were at) it has no power steering,no power brakes,no A/C,heater works great.floor pans, trunk, frame rails, firewall, are all solid.this car has been undercoated early in its life,so there is virtually no rust underneath of it.
Car comes with stock rims, hubcaps, and like new tires,Rallye rims DO NOT go with the car. I changed the original 2 barrel intake and carb for a 4 barrel setup.after putting on the intake and running it,I developed a very very tiny front intake gasket leak.I do have new gaskets coming for it,they will be here on friday.I will get it changed before I sell it.I do not like a leaky vehicle.
The car drives straight down the road, you can drive it home. all lights work.all gauges work.I do have another 318 engine for sale with 63,000 miles on it for $300 it came out of a 1966 plymouth belvedere, and I have a 8 3/4 Posi rear end I will let go for $400 the rear end came out of a 1972 plymouth road runner.it is axle to axle minus brake drums(as is,spins free, not locked up,I do not know what the gear ratio is at this time) I do have a clear title for it in my name,it is currently licensed and insured.I bought another project and need the money to put into my new project.you can email me for more pics (51 pics total) or call me at 618-303-6167 to look at it.no tire kickers,scammers,lowballers,etc...serious only, cash only,no trades. mopars are getting higher and higher in price, even the 4 doors.my price of $2,500 is $1,100 below blue book value according to www.nada.com your not going to find a nicer almost rust free car for this price.come on out and take a look.thanks!
