1966 Hand Me Down Charger

Yeah we got some snow. 8-12" depending on who you ask. Time to get the snowmobiles out I guess.
No "high quality" quarters that I'm aware of.
Your gonna need some doors soon. LOL

Find that 440 crank?

WOW...just started reading this one today...nice job I will keep on watching.

Good work bud! You'll find everything, it's all part of building these but one day you'll be looking back and enjoy it all in a better way having the old gal ready to drive.. keep up the good work!

I have several misc parts from 66&67 Chargers as well as many engine parts. I live in SE Iowa, not looking to make a fortune on parts. Just need to clean out shop somewhat. Also can anyone recommend spot weld bits, have tried many all seemed to fail to soon. CHARGER ON ROTISEERIE 002.jpg

I posted in another area of this same string, wondering what brand and style you use for drilling spot welds ? I tried several styles, all seemed to become dull way too soon, did experiment with pressure and RPM speed :-(...........so out came the hammer and chisel.........Also mentioned I have several parts body wise and engine related parts sale (reasonable).....in this same string of pictures etc. Did not put in the for sale forum yet.SHOP APRON 018.jpg

Hey Minnesota Man - things look they're going well. Glad to see you're making progress. Like The Hawk says take your time and do it right. You definitely have a great classic there and we can wait a bit to see her done right.

I'm heading to Minneapolis in a week for one of my multi-times annual fishing trips and picking up, my GTX from the guy who's been doing the restoration on it. It's been a 5 year project and can't wait to get her back and ship her out to CA. Rather keep her in MN and move back up,there but the wife is adamant about living in CA.

Good luck and keep on keepin on......!

Been trying to send you messages but your inbox is full. Are the parts we talked about still for sale? Been down with the flu. Feeling better everyday and want to get back on the charger. Thanks!

Got the rear spring pockets welded in today. Also yesterday I ordered my Rocker panels and trunk extensions. Kinda a bummer was the really nice extensions I ordered were out of stock till March 25th. I cant wait that long. So I had to settle for the other quality ones. I also forgot the camera again. So pics tomorrow.
