1966 satellite , hemi 4spd, to cool not to share

A 1966 parts manual should show this bar and all its pieces. There may be an early and a late version. I know I have taken front sway bars out of 1966 Chargers to bolt into my 1964 Polara's. Brackets bolt in to holes in the front frame horns to hold the bar rubber bushings. The ends of the bar attach to the strut rod with unique clamps.

Correct I've seen both on 66 Chargers, they changed sometime mid year. The parts manual had updates throughout the year as well that's why it was a looseleaf binder.
Mine was built later in the year and has the newer style bar arrangement. (Which looks much better I think)

Must have been some sort of change over in 66 to the use of the sway bar tabs welded to the lower control arms. Every 66 Plymouth Hemi I’ve studied pictures of uses the LCA tabs and later style sway bar. But I’ve seen several 66 Dodge Hemis with the earlier bar clamped to the strut rods. Either Plymouth went first or some assembly plants did or ???

Maybe its a date thing.
Mine is April 5th 1966
