1966 Satellite S/S spring?

It's a kick in the pants. The car looks like absolute crap and everyone says to leave it alone. But I keep thinking I will get pulled over for driving a bad neighborhood car in a good neighborhood.

That's Race-LL profiling...LOL.... Sweet car Meeps :headbang:

Meep-meep,
I like it man! Ole Rusty is sweet. I have to break down and get some pictures of my car on my profile. So 3800lb springs seem to be the concensus at this point.

Hey Meep,,, have you ever tried 3:55 gears?

Yeah, but not with slicks. Low 13's skating out of the hole but once it got traction it pulled like a big dog all the way through the lights.

To me, they are a real good street gear.... 3.91's can be a tick on the steep side for highway roads,,,, and 3.23 is just not quite enough for my blood....:happy7:

I've got a '67 Satellite with an iron-headed 440, full interior (except heater and radio are gone), full exhaust that weighs in at 3600 pounds.

I run the 3400 pound SS springs and they don't seem to ride harsh at all. I drive it on the street all the time, sometimes daily and it seems fine to me. The car has a very slight rake to it but the rear doesn't look all jacked up. The passenger side sits a little higher in the rear though.

In the past I ran the 3600 pound SS Springs in a big-block Challenger. That was a mistake! That combo rode like a dump truck.
