Did all 1967 Charger 383 4-bbl cars have the "383 4-barrel" badge, or did some of them ship with the "V8" badge?

I'm looking at a one of these cars that it numbers matching and it has the "V8" badge. Just would like to know if that is correct.

Thanks!

It was available with a 383-2 which would have been badged with the V8 emblem. If the 5th digit of your V.I.N. is a G it came from the factory with a 383-2.

I'll have to check out the VIN. I do know that the original carb was replaced at some point with a newer 4-bbl.

Did the 383-2 have single or dual exhaust? It has dual exhaust now that appears to be original.

all 66 & 67 chargers that had 2bbl carbs from factory had single exhaust..all 4bbl cars had dual exhaust from factory.

318, 361, & 383-2bbl had V8 on the fenders...383 with 4bbl had the 383 FOUR BARREL emblems, 440's had either 440 MAGNUM or 440 FOUR BARREL emblems on the side....and the Hemi engines said 426 HEMI on fenders
