1967 Coronet 500 - Billings Montana

I've been holded up in the shop this winter and did some things to the 67...

Before I installed the Micky Thompson valve covers I took a pic of those sweet T&D rockers.

Got the top of the hood stripped. Going to paint it and the scoop flat black.

Installed a JW Performance 3400 stall torque converter and flex plate.

Installed a Lokar kickdown on my TF727

Put in a new Saginaw power steering pump.

Installed a oil pan skid plate because I am paranoid about hitting something with my low hanging oil pan.

Going to a shop in town soon for a custom 3" exhaust.

Finally got my hood installed and brakes fixed, car is really running great.

Awesome, looks great MT! Something about those big scoops on a Mopar that looks right (very intimidating). I like the skip plate, should set your mind at ease a bit.

Wow, very similar story here, solid GA car with a 440 transplant COOL. You are 2 years ahead of me. My 67 500 is getting a hemi hood scoop very soon, you really nailed it.

I upgraded my discs to the larger 11-3/4" rotors and added new Bendix Titanium Pads.

This upgrade is simple, economical, and only requires replacement caliper brackets and rotors: (requires inner seals), you can even use your old pads if you want.

Caliper Brackets: Dr. Diff $90

Bendix 11 3/4" Rotors: Summit $37.97ea

Rotor Inner Seal: $1.97

Bendix Titanium Pads: $36.97

Check out the video from the RamMan below at: 4:00

This is a serious brake improvement upgrade. I bedded the pads in on first drive and it is a huge improvement in stopping my car.

I am really liking this setup.

Thanks for the info John. Looks like a decent, quick upgrade. May just do this myself!

BTW........Congratulations to your clamp on shop light for surviving whatever war, Armageddon, and second coming it's obviously gone through :headbang:

You bet Will, the RamMan... he really is the "man", what a great bit of information for an awesome upgrade! Took me just a couple of hours and it was all put back together, didn't have to even crack the bleeders. Awesome!

Well, my little clamp shop light... I have beat the liven shiat out of it, rewired it twice and it keeps on going, I use the fluorescent tube bulbs in it and it is pretty robust unless its a "stone" day, you know: Some days are diamonds, and some days are stones!

Have a good one.

Sweet! Disc brakes are good, one more thing down.

Having fun with the Muscle Car Club this weekend, nice to see quite a few Mopars in the mix too.

We rock with Tiki Torches on Friday's and Saturdays

Looks like a good time, love the van!

Changed up my 6AN fuel lines. I found these from Vibrant Performance, they have the lines in Black/Blue also. I like the look of the red, crap... now I am thinking I need to put the black MP valve covers back on.

Attended a great car show today, had a blast with a bunch of my car buddies.

The show was at our Mercedes Benz dealership and proceeds go to our local veterans.

Billings is a great little town. Love Montana. I bet you're the toast of the town with a sweet Mopar like that. Good luck with the upgrades and keep us posted.
