Check this rear interior panel. It’s painted black and white. Did the factory paint it this way? The lack part is. On the smooth surface, the white part is on the textured surface so there is a division line there. The soft trim is for a 1967 Satellite or GTX

This is the correct way the panels were painted from factory.

We are trying to figure out what gets painted black or white on the rear interior panel. Doesn’t look like anybody was disagreeing, just bouncing ideas.

Depends on who you ask, I always stand up for the 66-67 Belvedere's and Coronets. Also they don't rust nearly as bad as the 68-70's. I'm partial to the Plymouth side, but have and like both, in those years. A 67 Hemi 4-speed GTX is the top of the heap for me.

I was thinking of making a bid on it earlier in the year. Ran the VIN through Google. Looks like it was bought in March 2019 at Mecum Phoenix for a bid of $35,000.00. Paid $38,000.00 with 10% auction charge. Attached is a review of the car as well as an "opinion" of value. Just presenting this for your consideration.

Front arm rest pads should be white.
Dash and column paint has too much gloss.
Turn signal lever is all chrome like 1966 style. 1967 should be satin arm with a black end on it.

Car looks good! I like the combo.

No dust boots on the torsion bars
Bolt on trunk striker plate should be body color
Wrong ballast resistor
Has a 66 and older water pump housing, temp sender in wrong place
Has a 66 and older throttle return spring bracket
Heater attaching nuts should be gold
Hood release lever should not be painted body color

Overall a great looking car with these minor things. I’m just bored on a snowy night so I thought I’d type this stuff out for a prospective buyer. My cars ain’t perfect either.

NO, the alt bracket is different and the top mount is in a different spot on the housing. The water neck bolts go to air on a 66 housing, and they go in an bottom out on 67 & newer.

66 and older on top photo, 67 and newer bottom photo. Arrow is where temp sender goes. Look at the bolt boss by the water neck, it has moved.

A 67 Charger with the same exterior paint and interior colour combination, has white armrests front and back. Also R/Ts had seat medallions front and back, same as the Charger.
