Looking for some help here what I have is a 440hp block that has two sets of numbers on it one is on the oil pan gaskits side 440s22430778/the other num# is 8E108855 by the oil sending unit hole top of the block it would be nice to find the owner of this block.as I would love to find my block from my 69 X thanks for any help

that 8E number is the last portion of the VIN of the car it came out of
 
Thanks can you tell what body style it came out of that way I will no where to post it on B Body are E Body hopefully someone is looking for that Block.
 
I'd say B body only....... GTX, R/T, or Charger R/T........no E bodies until 70

anyone know if they ever put HP motors in any special C bodies? would be a rare find if they did

I think they may have put them in GT Sport Furys. but I dont think that was till 70. 4-speed, 440 6-packs.

I own a 67' Newport with the factory 440 HP engine. The option was available on all C body cars 67' Up.
