... at the moment it is still 2 tons of rust.

Hello from Germany!

I got myself a 1968 Charger R/T. I always dreamed of one. Now I got it...
It's a lot of work but nearly all important (and expensive) parts are there. Biggest problem is rust. Floor pan, trunk floor, some of the frame... Nothing to be afraid of though. It's not the first project I bought...

Happy to find some more information here... :)

Welcome.
They all take time and money. And the more money you have, the less time it takes

you didnt happen to get your R/T from california did you??? lets see some pics!!

It's nice when dreams come true but it's sounds like a night mare. What motor and trans are in the car?

Thanks for the nice welcome...

I will try to make some pictures this weekend, and post them here. :)

Nightmare?, how do you figure?.
well i am from ohio where we use salt on the roads for the winters. So when you say rust i can only think of the old saying rust never sleeps. I have a 70 b-body that my mom bought new in ohio and drove it for 7 years. I have had it in my grarge since 1977 and it showing some rust under the car and on the doors.

Looks like you have your work cut out for you!, but a very worthwhile project, good luck with it. The fender tag was not located on the fender but the inner fender so it could have had a replacement fender and still have the tag. It might have been in an accident badly enough that the inner fender was replaced as well, or somebody just simply removed the tag, who knows...
Did you find the car in Germany?.

Nice looking ride Ucku (but whar's the ought 1 and the beeg Rebel flag? Ya know them Duke boys be gettin mad ya ain't put it back on there yet?) I bet you get tired of hearing that don't you?

Bonum, where are you in Germany?

Hehe... Ever been to Germany? Impossible to make a sleeper out of a 208x76,6inch 440ci 375bhp 2-door car...
