1968 Dart. Rock Solid Bracket / Index Car.
Car is actually a 1967 Dart with 1968 Grille. Included in sale is a pair of nice 1968 Dart Tail Lights to complete the clone/tribute. Side marker lights and fuel fill gas cap have been deleted and filled in.
Car runs consistent 10.40’s @ 126mph in 2800/3000 Density Altitude. Included are individual weight bars in trunk to slow the car down to 10.50, 10.60, 10.75, 10.90, etc, whatever needs be. Weight Bars are bolted into the frame with 1/2” grade bolts.
Car launches straight and goes straight, stops on a dime and will hook in the rain.
Car pulls the front wheels about 12" for about 15 feet out from start line.
Consistent 1.45 / 1.47 60 foots. Runs a 50/50 mix of 91 pump and 110 Race Gas for a more economical fuel cost. Timing set at 35 degrees.
Cowl Mounted Fuel Pressure Gauge and Vacuum Gauge. Moroso Rear Bumper mounted Shut-Off Switch.
