I've made a ton of mistakes, the biggest being that I really wanted a '69. Ended up with a 68 that was much rougher than it was supposed to be, yada yada you've heard it all before I'm on the homestretch now, starting to look forward to it more than ever. The only thing that will be non proper on the car will be the '68 GTX grille with no emblem that will be finishing the car off when I get that far, the '68 RR grille is the most hideous think I have ever seen (my opinion of course), but I will keep mine if/when the car finds a new owner after me.
I was going to go with Weld style 5 star type wheels, but saw a RR on ebay with black steel rims and poverty caps, and I kinda like it. So, picked up some nice steel rims and "plymouth division" poverty caps, so teh decision is now made.
Going with Tor Red/Hemi Orange. Pic was taken with cell phone, so looks rather red with little orange in the pic.
Anyway, here is the car from the way I bought it to how it looks now. The guy I bought it from had some peach sherbert paint, no joke. Only needed quarters, everything else was solid. Car is now jammed and engine bay is done.
