Not necessarily how I would have ordered it from Dodge back in the day but I will still take it.
I thought the automatic A12's came with 8 3/4 rears?
Could be, I certainly am NOT a numbers guru like some of the pro's on here.. i know my car had a Dana, but it was a 4 speedMaybe you are thinking of the later V code cars, and Hemis, with the 727.

You said it yourself.. So with that in mind, it might be a lot easier and cheaper to put it back original, sell it, then buy a nice original 4 spd A12, or whatever. Plus just doing a trans conversion doesn't seem like it would be much fun or inexpensive. I'd really think about that idea awhile.. I modified my car a lot as I restored it but it's not rare. Even so, I did try to keep most things where they could be switched back to original/stock without a lot of surgery. And there were lots of things that I thought about a long time and more that I wished I had thought about a little more.. Just my opinion.. Above all tho do it "Your Way".... I'll tell you a little secret if you don't tell anyone, I talk to my car a lot and "she" tells me some of the things she wants, she also hurts me sometimes when I don't listen to her. It's the rarest of the A12s - WM21 Auto.
