Looking good, too bad about the paint peeling off. Thanks for the heads up on it, though.
Can you believe 260 5/16" holes in my trunk pan? This is not counting the flanges for the drops. I guess it shouldn't fall out of there. It fit fairly well with the only complaint I would have is the down turn flanges that attach to the inner wheelhouses should be longer. There is a portion that is only about 1/4" flanged. Kinda hard to make a nice looking 5/16 plug weld in that area.
Also cut my frame connectors from some 2.5 x1.5x 1/8" tubing. This works good on these car, fitting snugly around the front of the rear frame rails and butting to the torsion bar crossmember. I will weld these in while the car is all braced up.

Thanks guys. I think it will turn out pretty nice. Now if I could only decide on a exterior color life would be good.
Let's see. Pearl, BC/CC, metalflake, Single stage. Chameleon, or an array of psycodelic colors. Does that help any?
Sorry, not familiar with paint codes FK5? I'm a little partial to orange on the 68-70 B Bodies, I've went to allot of shows looking at different colors and just love orange on them. Mine will be House of Colors Tangelo pearl, it's a three step paint (white, translucent orange and clear). I've seen them copper as well, that looks sharp. Another color that looks great on them is dark metallic green, I think it's a forest green. Best thing to do is just make sure you look at a lot of cars. Good luck
As of now 2012 Dodge Copperhead pearl, 2003-08 GoManGo pearl, 1970 FK5. I am going with a black interior so probably a black vinyl top also. Rump stripe either black or white.
I gotta look at this and just kind of chuckle a bit H2E....First this color, than that..then another. Identical to what I was doing not that long back on my bird. Feel for you man. Exciting to pick out the paint, but then again it's like what to buy the wife for your first christmas together.
