1969 Dodge Super Bee Coupe Restoration

Heck, if there's no crease, you could give the hair dryer trick a try.
When I dented the GTX on the garage door frame, I was amazed at how much of it came back out
simply by using my wife's hair dryer on it - to the point that if it hadn't had a crease, it would have
all come back out, using the relatively low heat of the dryer plus a little encouragement from behind
the panel!

Interesting trick. Did you use this one, LOL!

Well looks like I'm certainly stuck in this place now! Thanks Roger... it's an honour! Yes, with a U... :luvplace:

that doesn't look like fun at all lol
paint & body is one of the areas where I haven't had much practice to get good at yet but throw a nice 220 gas mig in my hand and I can run a bead like no tomorrow
I believe Wayne will get her all sorted out like it never happened though

I have an old Millermatic 200 that I got good with but man, it's been awhile since using it with any regularity. These days I need to practice a bit before doing any welding to make sure I can still do it lol. I know I'm a bit more shaky these days and that doesn't seem to help much....

I binge read through the entire thread last night, well done sir! (except for the heater hoses not being crossed, lol)

My condolences for the loss of your daughter, she was a lovely young lady.

Don’t sweat the ding in your fender, a good PDR guy can easily massage that right out.

I didn’t follow the link, so I can only imagine. Web forums in general are full of self-appointed experts offering unsolicited opinions…

Excuse me...:poke:

Just to be clear, that comment wasn’t directed at you :poke:

Years ago when the GTX landed a 6 page feature in Car Craft magazine I couldn’t believe the negative comments from internet trolls. I don’t get it, they must be jealous or insecure…

Yes sir! You weren't joking about that dent were you. Pretty sure one of them glue gun clamps will pull that right out.

Whole bunch better than the pop machine incident, but still sucks. Hope it pops right out so you don't have to deal with your insurance again.
