Whelp I was doing some steering stuff and I am adding a new Borgeson box. I figured while have the column down and removing it I would replace the turn signal switch. I ordered one from Dan’s. Then while disassembly I realized the wonderful people who built the car never took this apart to refinish and dirt came out. SO, time to replace things IF I can. Do they make the upper and lower bearings or should I clean and reuse what I have? DOES the lower have ball bearing at all? Cannot see them in the lower. Thanks in advance Scott

They do make the upper and lower bearing
if yours are smooth i would reuse them the lower one is kinda pricey but was still available last time i looked for one.

Do you remember where to get them? Thx Scott

Roseville Moparts has the pieces and they have been good to deal with for me. I'm sure many other vendors have the same or similar parts.

My lower was crunchy from rust and I got it to spin but at that point the ball bearing have to be pitted. So I will get a new one. Thx for the response. Scott

Just a quick pointer ... do NOT remove the staple from the upper bearing insulator, that serves as the ground !!
