1969 Road Runner from track back to street

It sure is difficult not to get envious of this car, its been a very long time since i set behind the steering wheel of a 69, heck 68 or 70 Road Runner! I love these cars they were the best back in my day and they still are, ENJOY this one bud, one day ill be doing the same and looking forward to it and your thread posts here help give the inspiring to get it done!

Yeah the color is kind of neat but I wish it were the correct R4 red.

Found a car that at first, I thought it was my car before I owned it but this was just recently for sale. It's crazy because it has what looks to be the exact same paint. Look at the asking price!!

I had a lot of vibration & the guy who built my transmission recommended I measure my driveline because it is short. Turns out it was 2" too short. Had it rebuilt, larger dia.tubing & put new u-joints. Got it home & it almost looked like the the driveshaft loop was too small. Worked out fine & doesn't touch.

Nice 75* day so I took it out on a little lunch/cruise in today then out took a cool back road back.

Those are the hood pin's that I'm looking for, do you know what brand they are?

The hood pins were on the car, the bezels are from Year One & the clips & lanyards are from a local speed shop, packaged by them.

Finnally found an air cleaner for the ram charger fresh air cleaner i had. It actually fits with a 2 speed wiper & it fits up in the 6 pack scoop.

Cant see much but it fits. Glad i didn't repaint the lid because at speed the hood may bounce down enough to touch it.
