Not sure if this is the right place, or if "Body" would be more appropriate - but:

Was buying a few parts (Prop-shaft/pig/tank) from a guy today (he's got a '69 RR at his body guy now) and I noticed an "extra" set of fenders leaning against the wall, so I struck up convo about maybe buying them. He said his body guy told him that the "were not Roadrunner fenders", but he (owner, not body guy) said he "didn't know if they were GTX or Satellite". I was puzzled. As far as I know, the only thing that differs among them all are with/without side moldings and/or turn lamps. He further stated his body guy said his Inner fenders weren't RR, either.

The fenders had neither moulding "rivets", nor top turn-lamp holes but had prior bodywork and plain black peeling paint over oxide red and, presumably, mud.

Any thoughts on this? He said his body guy has done a bunch of B-bodies.

I'd appreciate any enlightenment.

Thanks
Mark

As you've stated, the only difference between the various "model" fenders are the holes or lack thereof. Basic RR would have NO molding or turn signal holes. As the options got checked, holes got added. Wheel moldings, lower moldings, turn signals.

As for the inner fenders, there is absolutely NO difference between the models and they are the same for both Dodge and Plymouth. And unless I'm mistaken, they are the same from 66 to 70.

There are some differences on the left side inner fender in 1970 with regards to the battery tray mounting.
