My 70 Charger project
A couple weeks ago I was picking up some restoration parts from National Moparts in Beaverton
I brought some extra cash with me just in case I saw something
Picked up a new carpet and headliner and a couple other small things
Guy behind the counter said was there anything else I needed ?
Like a smart *** I said did you have a pistol grip shifter for a console car ?
Just a minute he said and clicked a few buttons on the computer then left the room and came back with one
Well after holding it in my hands for a few minutes I figured it might as well come home with me too

I had been keeping an eye open for one but was never fast enough when one did turn up
I already had a bench seat version in my car so now I need to figure out the console part of it

My car was a project when I bought it and only the back console mount was installed in the car

So my question is did a console car use the same middle bracket for 4 speed vs automatic set up to mount the console ?

These are the only parts I have at the moment and do not know if they had to modify the middle bracket for clearance or was it a different piece all together ?

The back bracket was always in the car (just hope it is in the right location ) and I can set the console on to figure out where to weld on the other two
The middle one is probaly not in the right spot but that was the only place I could get it to sit to take the picture
