For those who know. Does it look more orange or brown in person?
I wonder what color that Challenger in the background would be? Looks very similar, but more brown than orange. My 70 Challenger convertible is FK5. It had been restored sometime prior to my buying it in '97, by the previous owner. He told me when he painted it, he wanted to do a base coat clear coat paint job, but no one offered that at the time in FK5. So he found a early 80s Mopar color that was really close and available in BC/CC. I find the color really varies in different lights. The firewall is still original paint and from that I can tell the color he used was a little more orange and a tad less brown then factory FK5.

My guess? Same color, or supposed to be. Different paint manufacturer, different primer color, single stage verses clear coat, could he any number of variables.I wonder what color that Challenger in the background would be? Looks very similar, but more brown than orange.
