Hey KD, Well I was looking at a complete car. PS, PB disc brakes up front, AC. I didn’t know the extent of the rust in the roof until I got her home and peeled off that crappy vinyl. The trunk would be relatively easy if I used a pan replacement. But every panel will require a significant massage. I assumed I would also be able to get the 318 going without to much trouble (wrong read later as I have not yet gotten to that yet in the blog).Yeah...Spill it.
Its solid for sure no rust under the car at all. Passenger rear quarter was hit and needs some metal work as well but not bad.ikr i was scratching my head wondering what he was talking about ugly lol !!
car looks like it has great bones, even if it needs a roof skin.
Nope Mopars all my lifeFiend, didn’t everyone start out with Chebby’s? Waiting for updates to come. ‘63 327 Impala then 64-1/2 small block Falcon and others! We are adaptable!!!
Gently pop the clips holding on the door card. You will find some screws on the bottom of the metal part you are trying to remove.Ok so I decided rather than posting my questions separately in specific forums I will fold them in here to make this more of a build and progress series and make this more of a complete build thread. I still have a lot of content to catch up on here and I will weave that into this as I move forward.
I can not find how to remove the metal inside trim piece in the FSM. I removed the screws but the painted steel piece is not moving. Anybody know how this piece comes off?

Perfect I thought the cardboard panel comes out last. But what about that thin metal strip? The metal strip above the panel is what holds it in place.

Joel told you and then I showed you with a picture. The panel comes off FIRST and goes on last. The strip you are pointing at is exactly what I showed and stated that it holds the upper in place.Perfect I thought the cardboard panel comes out last. But what about that thin metal strip?
Getting old sucks......Joel told you and then I showed you with a picture. The panel comes off FIRST and goes on last. The strip you are pointing at is exactly what I showed and stated that it holds the upper in place.
