Daily Zen....... Save everything, never use force and be patient and methodical when disassembling an old car.......
Thanks Mark. Yup some of the under structure is not holding up to the welds. So I am fabricating as I go. I can see why people buy panels and just slap them on. I like this work because its half art half structural half process ur 1/3 1/3 1/3 lolThat's some great progress Ron. Glad you got that rusty roof off. How does the sub structure look?
Also, AMD repops the window corner metal if you get frustrated enough lol. The sail panel fab looks nice!

Thanks Mark, its a labor of love and satisfaction that you have when you complete each section and then when your done you get to drive it! I find this work highly therapeutic in nature given that I usually am behind a computer or in a lab all day and nite.Damn do I feel your pain on this project. I started with a 1970 Plymouth Satellite that was running and driving, but rotten underneath. Ended up replacing the floor, inner and outer rockers, quarters, trunk, outer tubs, rear cross sill, trunk drops, and cross sill extensions. If it wasn't for my ability to do all the metal work myself, welding, etc, I would never have been able to afford to do a car this far gone. A few pics below. Either way, keep up the great work.
