I am helping my non Internet savvy friend sell his 1970 R/T Charger, as well as, 3 other cars being listed shortly.

The 70 R/T is in need of a complete resto, it is an original V code 6 pak car….

Has rust in all the normal places needs pans floor and trunk, quarter panels, and tail panel

The 440 motor was warranted before he bought it so the 6 pak is not with it; but all the 6 pak internals are with the motor.

The car is automatic console car and has a woodgrain rallye dash (non a/c) 8 ¾ rear with a blue interior and b5 blue ext.

Make it one more step in the rare direction it is a tac delete stripe delete car with tinted glass

Power steering and brakes (disc / drum heavy duty 11”)

Black vinyl top…has title and was registered with Charger registry

Lots of spare parts come with the car to help with the resto

Car is in Syracuse, NY, he is looking for $35,000.00 or best offer for the car due to the rarity of the car serious offers only please

Sounds like a cool car, BUT, $35k is definitely steep in this market. Maybe, just maybe, 5 years ago.

Good luck.

umm 35k that needs that much work. I am not one to knock anyone on their asking price..anyone can ask for what ever they want for their car....I just dont think in todays economy and market he is going to get close to that. I wish you both the best of luck in selling it though.

Post some pictures...it might be in much better shape than I am envisioning.

For those that don't know, price comments from the peanut gallery is not allowed in these for sale ads. If you have questions or comment other than pricing ask away but it is really NOT supposed to be a "discussion" forum and contact with interested buyers to the seller should be through the contact info in the ad.

I apologize, I wasnt trying to knock him was just trying to give some advice. I will refrain in the future. Thanks for the heads up :)

Nice car!! Too many Mopars not enough money!!

At that price it will be available until the economy recovers (if it ever does!) or the price is lowered to something more reasonable. Good luck with the sale!

rust! flipper!

haha are you a flipper, that piece of rust bucket was trying to be sold on craigslist Vancouver for ever for $19 gs,no fender tag and severe rust-just give it a decent burial!better yet show us close up shots of the rust! 35 gs-more like $3500 and you pay me...mopar greed strike again!:eusa_naughty::eusa_naughty:

I must say that the attitude in these forums as of late has been abysmal and not only ones I posted in. I thought we were here as a community to help those with questions and to get a few answered ourselves.

Your rude and child like behavior puts a bad light on this community and I personally believe they should consider removing you from it! As for your comments on the car I do not know where you get your information, but it has the fender tags, VIN tags, and for anyone truely interested in buying the car I would get additional shots. As for Craigs list I do not know anything about it.

35k for the car + 40K for the restoration = 75k. The math works for me.

I've seen people put more into a "tribute" car.

Glws
