1970 Road Runner restoration

Hello,

I just read the entire thread here and hope when I start my 70 RR 440+6/5 speed Passon)/Sassy Grass, it turns out like yours has so far. The fitment of your panels looks really great. I will stay tuned!

Cost-wise, where are we at so far in the resto? Looking great!

well the amount of metal work was not cheap!!. after paint im in it for 25k that does not include the new parts i am using.

That's pretty much the figure I've been assuming on my plans with cost of AMD, metal/body work, and paint plus my wiggle factor.

hard to see... the stripes are on

Painted the birds on!?!?! Wow, they look fantastic. He must be a great artist.

Your Road Runner is looking fantastic. Congratulations. I am seriously envious because I haven't started on my 70 Road Runner yet. I will certainly be checking out the results as you move along.

Sweet! :VB toast:

X2 - painted on is SO COOL ! ! !

That photo of the hood in the sun from the rear really shows that stripe off great. I'll bet the whole car will look great sitting in the sun when you get her all back together.

looking real nice :headbang:

Wow that is awesome, love the stripe and the trunk lid. Great job:icon_pray:

keep the pictures coming! What are you build plans, body color, interior, drivetrain 440-6 it sounds w/ the 5 speed (i'm considering also) but what else? , suspension, braking, adding options, any mods/nods to creature comforts, etc.

I have an FE5 RR I'm planning on tearing into also if i don't chicken out :)
You could send it up.....or just sell it to me....
