Hi Mopar Amigos,
I'm posting this car for a good friend- I met him as a potential buyer but as much as I love the car, I don't have garage space so here I am giving you guys first crack- it's going on marketplace in a week or so.
This car's option plate is so loaded there's a second one, paperwork in the glove box indicates this car to have been a Chrysler Corporate demo car- come see it yourself.
There are AC parts in the trunk and also someone converted the front brakes to disc; old drums are also in the trunk. It has the patina some guys seek- if you're one this one's for you.
All the cool stuff- brown/tan interior, floor shifter, rallye gauges, it's a stripe car, the good hood, you name it. It doesn't have the aeronautical turn signals on the front fender but I have a set I'll give you if you want them.
Will need new carpet set. Trunk pan is solid, odd due to the other issue but we'll take the win.
Non-original 70s truck 440 engine replaced the original but it runs strong and sounds great. 727, rear end and everything else look to be original. No frame rust. Car does have pinholes in driver's side floorpan (could seal with POR-15 and call it a day in my opinion) and below the rear window around the chrome trim is shot. Not sure what's under the vinyl top- best case you can reseal and put a new top on, worst case you might have a roof job on your hands- I don't think that's the case but I prefer to disclose now.
$28k obo is the magic number. I will double back when I have decoded this monster options plate and update description.
The Last two pics are of this car but must be from years ago and from previous owners- I'll go see the car on Wednesday and take some more accurate pics and revise the listing so you can see what you're getting.
Clear Texas title in hand, no back fees. Car is located in Los Angeles.
