A friend from work was invited over to another friend of his house a couple days ago and there was a cool car there. A man named John Faraone was there working on his race car he brought over from Australia to race. I guess it has been running in the low 7s with 10psi boost and expected to be a 6 second car soon. I was told it has a 572" wedge. Its going to Tulsa this weekend. If I didnt have lots of family stuff I would go. I guess they have midnight grudge races after the official drags are over from what I was told. I was told he seems to be a cool guy.

Yep, John is from Western Australia like me. Was sitting in third spot with 7.49 189 after the second track but think he had trouble with a butterfly shaft. AWESOME EFFORT .

The car is cool as h**#. I do have some pictures of it being worked on but they are on my phone and my internet connection and low tech mind might take me for ever to put them on the site. I can email them to some one from my phone who is higher tech. I just thought it was cool and if anyone was close to Tulsa they would want to go watch it run.

If I had a poster of the picture above I would be glad to hang it in my building next to my car.
