Hi all. I originally posted info on the car in the for sale:not mine section. Several people responded and my wife saw the posting for the car...and really liked it. Finally made it to WI from Michigan to get it. Hit Chicago area at rush hour. Make that rush 3 hours. Ugg.
Took a while as I wanted a car trailer to make the trip, and was fortunate enough to find a decent one. Hauled great.
Car is a '74 charger, shaved handles, top obviously altered, shortened about 12" front and rear. Needs work, but will be done as she wants after the chassis is strengthened. She saw a local company that does crate engine 5.7 hemi mated with GM trans installs that don't require trans tunnel to be enlarged. She wants that as well as panther pink exterior. Is hers, so she'll get what she wants.
In person, it's actually pretty neat, I'll admit. Alterations were done fairly well.

Congratulations. What is your plan for the roof? Removable hard top or weld a new top on?

Still curious as to where they took the length out of the car to have the body lines come out right.

Hi, and thanks. Removable hardtop at the moment is the idea.
Mustang is a 1972.
YY1: here are some pics along with one of my 1971 showing how they shortened the front. Also shows where hood was rewelded/tacked back together.
