I'm almost done rebuilding the full suspension on my 1974 Roadrunner but have hit a roadblock with the lower control arms. We pulled everything apart, had it all blasted and powder coated, re-assembled all components, but have not been able to find replacement bushings/sleeves for my lower control arms and this is now holding up my entire build at this point. I can re-use the original shafts, but would also like to find new if possible.

Apparently the suspension components/geometry on our B-body cars changed after 72. The only options I've found online for 73-74 bushings/sleeves are all out of stock and have been for some time.

Does anyone here know where to get these bushings/sleeves? Possibly the shafts? Or maybe a complete lower control arm assembly that would work in place of the stock? I looked at the QA-1 tubular control arm as an option but they don't make parts for B-bodies after 72. Same with other brands...

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is keeping me from getting my 2 year long build completed and the car finally back on the road!!!

We just had this conversation about 73/74 UCA's.

...and it's back up top today.

Short answer- press with pipe and steel bar stock..

The only currently available stock lower control arm bushing I could find is MEVOTECH MS25485, Rock Auto has them for $8.41 More Information for MEVOTECH MS25485 I suspect they are Chinese. I went with Energy Suspension Poly for mine, you reuse your sleeves on these. Rock Auto also carries these. I have not found any other recently.

He is asking about lowers.

That is correct, I need the lowers and I need the sleeves. I believe these bushings will work https://www.energysuspensionparts.c...KbraXl4MxKjfyzVQEMKvOBrSjZaOrx4sLNO6RMYtZYtpl

But they do not come with the sleeves.

I found this link from an A body forum

https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopa...ysler-suspension-part-numbers-pdf.1715739087/

On here is shows a K7059 part number for 73 and later b bodies for lower control arm bushing kit. When I look that up I find this one ebay.

Moog Suspension Lower Control Arm Bushing K7059 | eBay

Looks like this might work? The description states it will, but you never know..

Moog K7059 is the correct part, discontinued by them. Heck I think I will buy a couple.

FYI for anyone else looking for the Pivot pins, Firm Feel does have some greaseable ones that are made especially for them. They are greaseable to cut down on the squeaking caused by using poly bushings and are the correct 9" long pins for 73 and later b-bodies.

Thanks R/T Boy 67 for the recommendation. They were super nice and helpful over the phone.
