1975 ignition control module toasting another one..

None of the above....someone mentioned nichrome wire....which alloy?? The common type is 80/20 % nichrome (nickel/chrome) but did you have a specific alloy in mind?? As they have different resistive characteristics and respond differently. ....just curious.....
BOB RENTON

Alloy 675 (Nichrome 60)

(Nickel: 60%, Iron 24%, Chromium 16%)

Was frequently used when moisture was prevalent, subject to more severe use and operating conditions..

Just my $0.02...

HI,
I think I'm just going to go back to stock stuff with new ICM , coil and resistors. On the duel resistors How do I know which is which and which wires to connect to which in case there are wrong now/?
I'm chasing a no start when cold issue with my converted Mopar Electronic system. As soon as I get my ECU and pick up from halifaxhops, I hope I get it working. If not, I'm going back to a points style distributor with a Pertronix Ignitor I. Simple and usually trouble free. I don't need anything high performance or mega volt. Just something that is no maintenance and works. Simple and effective. Oh and the Pertronix works up to 16 volts. @pedal2themetal
