So i just had my 2 speed wiper motor rebuilt by jerry in florida. Hook it up to the switch, throw power and it blows the fuse - went from 15 to 20 amp and does same thing. I have a rebuilt switch coming (just in case). According to jerry, these 2 speed motors are quite rare. im looking for wiring diagram or pics for a 67 coronet. All the ones i have i think are for the variable speed motors. Can anyone help as so i can get this finished and back on the road? Thanks!

A simple test would be to unplug the wiper motor and turn the switch on.
Test for power at the wiper motor plug. If you see power where you should at the plug and no fuse blows that would mean the switch and wiring are probably OK. Wiper motor has short.
The E body switch has a 10 amp cuircuit breaker built in to the switch so only use a 10 amp max fuse as you may overload the actual wiring if you say use a 20 amp.
The service manual should tell you the right fuse rating. Just putting bigger fuses in is not a good idea.

the car is a b-body (not e as you stated) if that makes a diff. when we initially hooked it up we got like one cycle then the fuse blew (15a). we are running a painless wiring harness kit for the car. i just can seem to find anywhere or anyone who can say where to hook the red, brown, and blue wires to which pole on the original 2 speed switch. Or what wires to jump with 12v to test the motor (even though it was just rebuilt).

OK if it not original I guess most people on this forum will not be much help. Good luck.
