Hi, just joined today. I have a question about the 2 speed wiper switch. I'm customizing my dash, new gauges and switches and ran into a head scratcher. I have all ron francis switches including the wiper switch. I don't have an original one to reference but the ron francis one has a (B) battery (P) park (L) low and a (H) high terminal. I know how the wiper works, low goes to the resistor and then to the L terminal, High goes directly to the H terminal and then the park goes to the gearbox switch P1 which is where I'm lost because I would think you could just come off P2 to the resistor for the park. My old harness had 4 wires, What is the 4th wire for? I have a manual that shows everything except how the factory switch works but does mention a circuit breaker between B & P1. Any thoughts

Maybe if you post the year and model of car you have someone may have a manual that could help..

Yeah I guess that would help, sorry didn't realize that I didn't mention it. 1969 charger

I believe all 69 Chargers had 3-speed wipers

I have a service manual that shows both variable and 2 speed wipers for the 1969 charger.

Many Service manuals are meant to be only general guides including some sections in the factory ones, they have wrong pics in illustrations many times where models don't match parts pics and are not always accurate about exact model to part type usage. I am not saying 69 Charger never used a 2 speed for sure just my belief with Mopar never say never
