Here's your Tuesday before the event reminder to post your picks for the 2022 Menards NHRA Nationals Presented by PetArmor at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, KS.
The first of three Pro qualifying sessions starts Friday, August 12, at 7:30M EDT (4:30PM PDT).
Friday qualifying won't be on TV (FS1) until Saturday at 4:30PM EDT (1:30PM PDT).
Saturday qualifying won't be on TV (FS1) until Sunday at 1:00PM EDT (10:00AM PDT).
Final eliminations will be televised Sunday on FOX at 2:00PM EDT (11:00AM PDT).

The nhra.com website currently shows the following number of entries:
16 Top Fuel
15 Funny Car
14 Pro Stock
14 Pro Stock Motorcycle

Always check to confirm your picks are participating. You may also possibly find either new drivers or old favorites competing.

The weather forecast currently calls for nothing but sunshine and high temps of 92F on Friday, 95F on Saturday, and 97F on Sunday.

maybe after the playoffs start, they will "wake up"

'johnnycuda' (FABO) picked the #1 qualifier in Pro Stock, the #3 qualifier in both Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle, and the #6 qualifier in Top Fuel. 'cuda20' (FABO) picked the #2 qualifier in both Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle, the #3 qualifier in Pro Stock, and the #6 qualifier in Top Fuel. Way to go!

* 4 different Funny Car drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There is a possiblity of one head-to-head matchup in Round 2 of eliminations if both drivers are still in competition.
* 4 different Pro Stock drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There is a possiblity of one head-to-head matchup in Round 2 of eliminations if both drivers are still in competition.

Congratulations to 'johnnycuda' (FABO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title for the 2022 Menards NHRA Nationals with a nice total of 122.5 points. His Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stocked Motorcycle picks all made the final round of eliminations before losing. His Top Fuel picked lost in the opening round of eliminations. He was also helped with ET bonus points in Pro Stock.
'Outlawd' (FBBO) earned the runner-up spot with 112.0 points.
