This is your 2-day late "Tuesday before the event" reminder to post your picks for the upcoming Midwest NHRA Nationals scheduled for September 29 - October 1 at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, IL.
Post your picks before the first round of Pro Qualifying that is scheduled to start at 6:00pm on Friday, September 29.

OK, before getting any further into the Midwest Nationals, here are the results from the Carolina Nationals:

Congratulations to 'TT5.9mag' (FABO) for winning the Top Qualifier title for the 17th event of the 2023 NHRA season, the betway NHRA Carolina Nationals with a very nice total of 29.5 bonus points. He picked the #1 qualifier in both Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, the #2 qualifier in Top Fuel and the #5 qualifier in Funny Car. Way to go!
'memike' (FABO) was right behind with 28.5 bonus points.
'Nick2317' is the top FBBO qualifier with 26.0 bonus points.
Congratulations to 'Budnicks' (FBBO) for being for winning the betway NHRA Carolina Nationals "Top Picker Eliminator" title with a very nice total of 136.5 points.
His Pro Stock Motorcycle pick won the class. Both his Funny Car and Pro Stock picks lost in the final round of eliminations. His Top Fuel pick lost in the opening round of eliminations. His point total was also helped with ET bonus points in both Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle, and Speed bonus points in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
'TT5.9mag' (FABO) grabbed the runner-up spot with 114.5 points.

going off the bike at 190+/front end washed out/locked up
Now she needs plastic surgery and will be out a while, with the feet...

I don't have anything against the MSR or the Smiths, at all...
I really like Matt (I usually have him as my P/SM pick, *5-6 time Champ)
he's a damn ballsy 'bulldog' just like his father Tricky Rickey Smith...
Angie has been doing well this year, she just doesn't seem as aggressive,
especially on the starting line & she is riding way better than she used to...
MSR has been doing well & giving the Vance & Hines Suzuki's a fit
(seem so wrong to say that, with the Vance & Hines team)
