Seems to only do it when cold....dealer 'adjusted' something and it worked ok for awhile. Another Colorado did the same thing. No one seems to know what's up with it. Upon take off (cold engine etc) and it goes to shift into 2nd, it acts like it goes into neutral and of course, I automatically let off (pun intended) the gas and it then goes into second. From then on, it's fine. Anyone know what's up with that?

Is it temp related? Will it act up if you let it warm up a bit? Let me find a link to the Colorado website that has helped me a few times.

It's usually fine after the first shift after start up. Just driving about 800 feet to the stop sign, it doesn't do it anymore unless the truck is allowed to completely cool down and even then, it's usually ok.

Not sure what your miles are but that has a 5 year 60k drive train warranty.
We have a 22 Equinox , only reason I know those numbers lol.
Not sure what's up with your trans, prob one of the electronic shift senders or the computer.

33k....but the dumb dealer is saying it's a 2021 because it was built 11/21. I asked them why is all my paper work saying it's a 22 along with a 22 owners manual. Not too sure about auto nation.

Did you tell them about the secret 10th digit of the VIN?

He's full of crap, 11-21 build is a 22 year model.
Anyway if it was a 21 it is still covered by GM on the 5 year 60k basic drive train warranty that comes with all GM autos and trucks.
Call a different GM dealer, I have no idea why they would be jacking around ?
Warranty work is good for the service dept. It's money in the bank.

Does it 4 forward gears or 6? I ask cause the 6l80 has problems and I heard something about a class action lawsuit against GM.

They won't do any warranty work for that problem, the service bulletin already states that "Replacing transmission components or complete assemblies will not improve the condition."

Sounds like the dealership is stalling, is there another dealership close by?
