2025 15th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - I Can't Wait!!!

I'm not a lover of it either. I went to ZMax a couple of years ago and was not impressed. You can't see all of the cars because of the wall down the middle of the track. The bleachers need to be higher to see better. With 4 cars on the track you can't see all the action. If 1 is running away and 2 are having a pedal fest and number 4 blew up you can't keep up with it all. TV is the only way to watch it really.

We went to the first 4 wide at Z-Max in 2010. It was interesting and fun to be there, but I prefer 2 wide. Seems to be a lot of screwups on the starting line with the 4 wide races. On a side note, the gold medal USA Bobsledders were at that race in 2010. That was cool.

@Nick2317, qualifying for the NHRA Las Vegas Four-Wides starts at 3pm EDT (Noon PDT) TOMORROW (04/11/25).
Please post your event picks (Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock) before qualifying starts to be eligible for all event bonus points. If your picks are not posted before the start of qualifying, I will use your picks from the most recent completed event but you will not be eligible for any bonus points.

@Nick2317, less than 3 hours to the scheduled start of qualifying for the NHRA Las Vegas Four-Wides TODAY.
Please post your event picks (Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock) before qualifying starts to be eligible for all event bonus points.

I'll stick with my locked in picks, still Thank you

Good luck everyone

Yeah I like it still, but would be much better
if they had like a 32+ car fields, like back in the hay day

but NOW NHRA, can hardly get 16 of each, regularly in the Pro-Classes today

I don't remember the specific tracks where they did 4 wide back then
Ontario & OCR maybe (?) probably not right...

32 & 64 F/Cs
& the cackle-fests were epic

& 32 F/Cs, Portland
owe what a time to be into drag racing,
I went to a bunch of them here on the west coast before I could drive, with stepdad Bob (Pontiac S/H)
A couple hundred after I could drive too, after 74' it started tapering off, by 77' it was a lot different

Accepted because your only change from the previous event was Top Fuel and your picks were posted before Top Fuel qualifying began.
May I suggest you post some 'locked' picks and then change them for individual race events as necessary. Any individual race picks will revert back to your 'locked' picks but at least you'll be eligible for all event bonus points should you forget to post.

Congratulations to 'GTXDAN' (FBBO), 'stroked340' (FABO) and 'Yunick13' (FABO) for sharing the 2025 NHRA Four-Wide Nationals Top Qualifier title with outstanding totals of 23.5 bonus points each. Each of them correctly picked the #1 qualifiers in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock, and the #2 qualifier in Funny Car.
'Budnicks' (FBBO) was right behind with 22.5 bonus points.

More great picks!

We have 15 players again this week and 12 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers with one Round 1 Quad containing 3 drivers: Doug Kalitta (6 picks), Justin Ashley (3 picks) and Clay Millican (1 pick). Only 1 of those drivers is guaranteed to move on to Round 2 since only 2 of the 4 drivers in the Quad move on. Two of the Round 1 Quad have 1 picked driver, and the fourth Round 1 Quad does not contain any picked drivers.
* 5 different Funny Car drivers with two Round 1 Quads containing 2 drivers, one Round 1 Quad contains 1 picked driver, and the fourth Round 1 Quad does not contain any picked drivers.
* 3 different Pro Stock drivers with two Round 1 Quads containing only 1 picked driver. One picked driver did not qualify for eliminations.

Good luck all!
